The South Dearborn Challenge has been supported by the Dearborn Community Foundation / City of Aurora since 2008.  AEP Lawrenceburg was a BIG supporter for the first 10 years.   Since 2008, 428 SDHS graduates have received $200,000 in scholarships for their 2nd, 3rd & 4th year of college. 

The South Dearborn Challenge & other Continuing Education Scholarships will be offered again this year for any South Dearborn High School alumni who graduated in 2024 or earlier and still pursuing their first degree.  It is an online application process - the scholarships are now open and the deadline to apply is October 31, 2025.
